On the heels on CMS's recent news regarding the number of stand-along prescription drug plans that will be available come January 1. With the Medicare prescription drug benefit marketing blitz now underway the National Medicare Audioconference, www.MedicareAudioconferences.com, opened registration today for its next audio-conference: Perspectives on Part D Enrollment Indicators and the Impact on Premiums and Beneficiaries. The conference will be on October 19, 2005, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 pm (EST), with experts from the federal government, retail pharmacy and beneficiary communities discussing their various strategies for engaging in the enrollment process. Faculty will also examine various enrollment scenarios and how they may affect Medicare beneficiaries and the pharmaceutical and insurance marketplace.

It is a live event that includes session handouts, an interactive question and answer period, and access for an unlimited number of participants at each call-in site.
